Webb Gets Spartan Post

SAN JOSE - UPI - John Brunson Webb, 26, has been named assistant football coach and instructor of physical education at San Jose State College.  The appointment was announced by Walt McPherson, head of the school's physical education department.  Webb replaces Bob Jones on the football staff. Jones resigned to become head football coach at the new West Valley Junior College in Campbell.  Webb was a halfback on the Spartan football teams  and was graduated in 1959.

Miss Graham, Virginia Man Wed in Florida

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA.— The First United Lutheran Church was the setting for the marriage of Miss Marion Jeannine Graham and Daniel Walker St. Clair on March 4.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James B. Graham, Lake Worth. Her husband is the son of Mrs. Margaret St. Clair, Pearisburg, Va. and Daniel M. St. Clair, Arlington, Va.

The double ring candlelighted ceremony was performed by the Rev. Paul Arnold, Th.D. Mrs. Leonard DiBitz, organist, played the traditional bridal marches and accompanied Miss Carol Faust, soloist.

​

Miss Dianne Graham was maid of honor and only attendant for her sister. She wore a peach cot- ton and nylon street length dress trimmed with rhinestones. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white embroidered nylon over taffeta ankle length gown, designed with bouffant skirt and elon- gated bodice. The rounded neckline was edged in seed pearls and she carried a white Bible with two white orchids, orange blossoms and satin streamers.

Best man was Donald McKee. Albert M. Cramer, uncle of the bridegroom, and George Bennet, uncle of the bride, were ushers. A reception immediately followed the ceremony in the patio of the church. Assisting were Mrs. Al- bert Cramer, Mrs. George Bennet, Mrs. Hester Verner, Mrs. Robert Johann and Mrs. Arnold Dux- bury. Miss Alice Ann Cushman and Miss Alice May Verner had charge of the guest book.

CHARLES LEE ANDREWS VI Age 62, died on May 3, 2002 at Palm Beach Hospice after an extended battle with cancer. After high school, he enlisted and served four years in the U.S. Navy, he was trained as a Marine Engineer. He was employed by the Palm Beach County Motor Pool.

​

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Stanley Babkiewich of Melbourne Beach. He was married on Thanksgiving Day in 1975 to his wife and best friend Jeannine St. Clair Andews of Lake Worth; three children: James St. Clair of West Palm Beach; Marlene St. Clair Gaffney of Wellington and Marianne St. Clair Smith of Live Oak, Fla. A host of other relatives and friends mourn his loss.

​

Cremation service is being handled by E. Earl Smith & Son of Lake Worth. Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The family will be forever grateful for the loving care given to us by Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave, W.P.B. 33407.

For the past three years, he has been a physical education instructor and assistant football coach at the new Mission San Jose High School.  The appointment becomes effective September 1st.
