Betty Williams Martin, 73, of 1360 E. Lakeshore Blvd., Kissimmee, died Nov. 20. A member of a pioneer Osceola County family, she was born in Kissimmee, the daughter of Steve Williams and Edna Bass Williams, and was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker, a charter member of the Silver Spurs Riding Club, and member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 62, Kissimmee. She was a Methodist. Survivors include her husband, Wilburn R.; daughters, Sharon Goren, Maitland, Diane Garcia, Newtown, Conn., Mary Jo Jackson, Avon Park, Betty Carolyn Overstreet, Mineral Springs, Ark.; brother, Dr. Jack L. Williams, Ozan, Ark.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Graveside services were held Nov. 23 at Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. James G. Radebaugh of the Church of the Messiah-Episcopal, Winter Garden, officiating. Grissom Funeral Home, Kissimmee, was in charge of local arrangements.
